I'm too old to learn.

            I'm not musical enough.

            I don't need a teacher to learn.

            I'm a slow learner.

            I hated school.

            I've always wanted to learn but now  it's too late.

            I'm too busy to learn an instrument.

            I don't like classical music.

            I don't like jazz.

            I don't like modern music.

            It's too late to start now.

            I'll wait 'til I have more time.

            I wish I didn't stop learning when I was a kid. Now it's too late.

            I hated music at school.

            I wish I could play but...

            My teacher used to hit me when I played a wrong note.

            Someone told me I'd never be any good at music.

            I hate failure.

            I hate making mistakes.

            I have low self-esteem.

            I'd never be any good at it.

            Teachers always got angry and were impatient with me.

            One day I'll get around to it.

            I don't want my child to do anything they don't feel like doing.
